The Skills for Families conference will provide an opportunity for all who have an interest in FLLN programmes to come together; family learning managers and co-ordinators, FLLN practitioners, Children’s Centre staff, teachers, extended schools coordinators, LSC regional and local partners, etc.

This is your opportunity to:

  • hear the latest news and policy from the minister and other leaders in the field
  • share in the debate
  • take part in a wide range of interactive sessions.

You will find out about the current issues and policies that will affect FLLN programmes, be updated on the pilot projects and many aspects of the project including professional development for teachers, tutors and managers.

A series of interactive sessions will be offered which will showcase good practice, e.g. Early Years pilot, Employability, Youth, Looked after Children and their Carers, Bilingual Families, Step in to Learning, Extended Schools and Health Visitors, Grandparents and Teenage Parents.
