Welcome to CTAD website!

Target Skills: English Works, developed by Tribal CTAD with the TUC, offers many interactive learning materials grouped by skill, and by three themes:

• You at work
• Your rights
• Health and safety.

Learning activities address speaking, listening, reading and writing. All are supported by a phrase book of key words, with audio definitions in ten community languages as well as English, and a recording facility so that learners can compare their pronunciation with that of native speakers.

You can choose to work by theme, or by skill and level. You’re offered relevant modules depending on what you choose. Each module contains four activities that offer opportunities to learn about key concepts and put your learning into practice. An electronic workbook is available throughout for making notes and saving work as evidence for qualifications.
